1. Make sure you are eating plenty of iron rich food, such as, liver, green leafy vegetable, beets, dried fruits, bran flake, oysters, brown rice, lentils and molasses, raisins, prunes; breads and pastas made from hole grain flour
  2. Avoid drinking coffee, tea and ingesting antacids, because they decrease iron absorption.
  3. Try to cook in iron pots; it is proven that doing it can significantly increases the amount of iron in your foods.
