As of October 30, 2006 there are only two living survivors of the 712 who survived the sinking of the RMS Titanic on April 15, 1912, after striking an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean.

  2. Eva Miriam Hart (31 January 1905 - 14 February 1996), died aged 90
  3. Edith Eileen Haisman (née Brown) (27 October 1896 - 20 January 1997), died aged 100
  4. Louise Laroche (2 July 1911 - 28 January 1998), died aged 88
  5. Eleanor Ileen Shuman (née Johnson) (23 August 1910 - 9 March 1998), died aged 87
  6. Michel Marcel Navratil (12 June 1908 - 30 January 2001), died aged 92 (last male survivor)
  7. Winnifred Vera van Tongerloo (née Quick) (23 January 1904 - 6 July 2002), died aged 98
  8. Lillian Gertrud Asplund (21 October 1906 - 6 May 2006), died aged 99 (last survivor who could remember the sinking)
  9. Barbara Joyce Dainton (née West) (born 24 May 1911), currently the oldest living survivor
  10. Elizabeth Gladys Dean (born 2 February 1912), youngest passenger and survivor
