ALONE ON VALENTINE'S DAY?? THE BEST GIFTS TO GIVE YOURSELF

Let's face it-for a woman who's currently single and alone, Valentine's Day can be hell. You're at work watching other staff coo over the flowers someone has gotten. Or you are in a store and see all the merchandise for Valentine's Day. Don't feel bad-rebel!! Provide yourselt with the gift you always wanted.
| | TAKE A MENTAL HEALTH DAY FROM THE JOB. Why expose yourself to feeling left out or to condescending remarks from co-workers? Call in sick, pull up those covers, and give yourself that day of rest you are always promising yourself but felt too conscientous to take. |
| | GO TO THE SPA. This is kind of the same idea as above with a different twist. Get massaged and pampered-you deserve it. |
| | ADOPT A PET. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and give a deserving animal a home. Pets are grateful, loving, and don't talk back (at least most of the time). |
| | TAKE A TRIP TO AN EXOTIC PLACE. Flowers, schmowers. The best response to "what were you up to Valentine's Day?" is "oh, I was in Rome that day." |
| | GO TO YOUTUBE!!! Feeling left out and lonely? Giggle at some of the silly things folks do when they have a Webcam and too much down time. |
| | WATCH A HORROR MOVIE!! Getting the crap scared out of you can get you out of the romantic mode all together. |
| | FANTASIZE AND BLOG IT!!! If you must be in the romantic mode, get creative. Blog your favorite fantasies with a distant sex god, like Mario Lopez. Now granted you are probably never going to meet Mario in this lifetime but that makes it all the better-you can go wild and have alot of fun with it. As for anyone who reads it, let them wonder. |
