This starter guide contains a list of wonderful Manga that led me to my love of all things graphic novel! There is Manga for every taste and age group to enjoy. From romance to science fiction and everything in between, Manga has it all. This list is a great start for the new Manga reader looking for solid stories and beautiful art. Below you will find titles, authors, and a short summary of the stories. Happy reading!

	Angel Sanctuary by Kaori Yuki -A very intricate plot line revolving around a high school student named Setsuna Mudo who learns that he is the reincarnation of the great angel Alexial! As a battle between Heaven and Hell ensues, Setsuna finds himself and his love caught in the middle.
	Death Note by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata -Light Yagami, a bright young boy, stumbles upon a notebook containing instructions that any person's name written within it shall die.
	Demon Diary by Lee Chi Hyong and Kara - Demons and Angels are in never-ending war but Raenef, a young, clumsy, and very non demon-like heir to demon royalty just might be the key to restore harmony and peace throughout the realm. With the dignified and courtly Eclipse as his tutor, perhaps all is not lost....maybe.
	Hellsing by Kohta Hirano -Hellsing is a top secret oragnization in England that deals with all things supernatural. Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing who is at the head of this organization has a secret weapon, a powerful vampire by the name of Alucard.
	Meru-Puri by Matsuri Hino -A prince named Aram literally comes out of Airi Hoshina's hand mirror and turns her well-planned life upside down.
	Nana by Al Yazawa -Nana is the name of both of the main characters who meet by chance on a train to Tokyo. One a punk-rock singer and the other a sweet and somewhat clueless girl; Nana resolves primarily around romance and relationships in and out of the music industry.
	Sand Chronicles by Hinako Ashihara -This a very engaging drama about a girl named Ann who moves to a small town with her mother. The story follows her through life with friends, love, hardships, and the complications therein.
