Best Christian Movies
BESTS
Tags: christian movies, christian, movies, films
Christian movies have a reputation for being corny, and while there are some pretty corny ones out there, there's some good ones, too. Here's some of the best.
| | The Passion of the Christ - It's the highest grossing R-rated film of all time. |
| | End of the Spear - based on a true story |
| | One Night with the King - a bit slow at times, but beautiful cinematography and the acting's not half bad. |
| | The Omega Code - No, it's not the best movie in the world, but it was one of the first relatively successful Christian movies. |
| | The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - it may not be overtly Christian to the untrained eye, but the plot is an allegory of the Christian faith. |
| | The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Likewise, this adaptation of Tolkien's famous books is littered with Chrsitian symbolism. |
| | Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie - it's meant for little kids, but it's still pretty entertaining for anyone with a childish sense of humor |
| | Luther - a compelling drama about Martin Luther |
| | The Nativity Story - drags on in parts, but it's still entertaining |
| | Amazing Grace - it's mostly about slavery, but it's about faith, too. |
| | The Matrix - Not obvious, but the symbolism is amazing |
