| | Cheapo Records: This record shop located in Cambridge's Central Square has boxes and boxes full of 12-inches albums, 7" singles, cassette, DVDs, VHSs, and so on. All genres welcome. |
| | Newbury Comics: There are several of these Boston-original stores around town. All have retail and used sections, carry a wide range of music DVDs and vinyls, as well as tons of music suplies. |
| | Pearl: Located in Harvard Square, this small record shop has some great items you won't find anywhere else. |
| | Looney Tunes: This shop is located between Central Square and Harvard Square and has a lived-in quality. Expect some real digging to find what you want. Great prices. |
| | F.Y.E: This used and new record shop at Downtown Crossing has a great staff and nice selection of used music. |
