Hairstyles have ranged from fairly mild to completely insane across the centuries. Here are some of the oddest ones.

| | Pompadours - That groovy wave above Elvis' forehead? Yeah, it had a sissy name like Pompadour. |
| | Dreads - I don't know why, but I always think of hairy tarantula legs when I see dreads. |
