Hairstyles have ranged from fairly mild to completely insane across the centuries. Here are some of the oddest ones.

	The Mullet - You knew it would be first...many variations including the Infantullet, Femullet, Skullet, and rat tails.
	The Beehive - Think Marge Simpson.
	Queues - Similar to the Skullet, this Japanese hairstyle consists of the front half of the head being shaved with a ponytail hanging off the back (sometimes braided and set in a coil on top of the head).
	Mohawks - Worn for centuries, a recent discovery of a 2,300 year old corpse with hand-made gel residue in his hair is making people question whether mohawks may have an even longer history than originally thought.
	Pompadours - That groovy wave above Elvis' forehead? Yeah, it had a sissy name like Pompadour.
	Dreads - I don't know why, but I always think of hairy tarantula legs when I see dreads.
	Simon Cowell cut - This style doesn't really have a name, but it's pretty awful
	Spikes - Whether it's just the little spikes above the forehead or an all-over spike attack, they just look weird...you see, women spend thousands of dollars to PREVENT this look.
