Charleston is one of my favorite vacation spots, below is a list of five reasons why you should make it your also!
| | Architecture: Charleston has one of the largest collections of intact early American mansions in the country as well as several important public buildings such as the first college, the first museum, and first theater. |
| | History: The Civil War started in the harbor, the first passenger train in the country left from here. These are just a couple of examples of the many historic events that happened in and around the City. |
| | Dining: Charleston has more 4 and 5 star rated restaurants than any other city of it's size in the country. In the last 20 years it has truly become one of the culinary hotspots of the country. Just last month, Cordavi was named as one of Esquire's Top 20 new restaurants in America. |
| | Beaches: The Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Folly Beach, Kiawah, and Seabrook over a total of 40 miles of wide sandy beaches located from 10 to 30 minutes away from downtown. |
| | Shopping: King Street has a wide range of shopping housed in historic 18th and 19th century buildings. Over 2 miles long, it has an antique district, a design district, and a variety of national chains from Saks Fifth Avenue to Gucci. |
