| | Hans Steininger (d. 1567) tripped over his 4.5' beard, broke his neck, and died. |
| | Adolf Frederick (d. 1771) died from digestive problems after eating lobster, caviar, saurkraut, cabbage soup, smoked herring, champagne and 14 servings of dessert in one sitting. |
| | Allan Pinkerton (d. 1884) bit his tongue and later died from an infection. |
| | Jack Daniel (d. 1911) died from an infection of a stubbed toe after trying to kick open his safe because he forgot the combination. |
| | Bobby Leach (d. 1911) was the second person to go over Niagra Falls in a barrel, but it was an orange peel that killed him. He tripped on it one day, breaking his leg so severely that it had to be amputated, leading to complications which resulted in death. |
