Here are just a few of the things that have helped me create some lovely cross stitch items

	scan you pattern so you can mark off stitches completed
	have more than one marker to check off stitches completed
	separate threads by color and shades
	find a comfortable place to work
	make sure you have more than one needle in case you drop one
	be patient - do this project for fun with no time line
