Get to the Beach - Vacation Spots: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

The hot sun, cool breezes and sand between your toes are reasons why heading to the beach is one of my favorite destinations. Below are some reasons why I love Myrtle Beach in particular.

| | You are near the beach Wide sand, clean, nice water. Waves are not too rough |
| | They have many activities for kids |
| | It is inexpensive compared to other vacation spots |
| | You can get beautiful time share rentals |
| | It is a very relaxing place to be |
| | Going in the water |
| | Going to pelicans baseball games |
| | Going to the arcades there |
| | Going to the amusement parks there |
| | Shopping at the stores there |
| | You can stay in a hotel, condo or even a house/apartment very reasonably. We stay at the same little oceanfront garden apartment every year and the price cannot be beat! |
| | Lots of daytime and night time activities for all ages. The Ripley Aquarium, Medieval Times, several nice shopping areas. |
| | The restaurants! You have your choice of any kind of food, but the seafood is the best. Not only can you eat locally in Myrtle Beach, but Calabash, NC is just a stones throw away for a night of all you can eat fun! |
| | Other SC sites are not far away. Hilton Head, Emerald Isle, Charleston, the Botanical Gardens, Ft. Sumpter. There is also South of the Border that you can visit as you cross from NC to SC or back, good tacky touristy fun! |
