This is a list of great places to eat if you should ever find yourself in the Montgomery, Alabama area.
| | Sommer's Place - This is a more expensive place to eat in Montgomery. Dinner for two can easily reach 75$, especially if desert is included, but it is well worth the money. In the Bruno's shopping center on the corner of East Chase and Chantilly Parkway. |
| | Jim 'n Nicks - You can't visit a city in the south without getting BBQ and Jim 'N Nicks, though a chain, is the best. It has some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten with a wide range of prices and plates. Located on the Atlanta Highway near Brownsprings Road. |
| | Sinclair's - This is charming little place with food ranging from 7$ a plate to over 20. The selections range from pasta dishes and fish to one of the best steaks I have ever had. It is a very intimate feeling place and one of my favorites in the cities with two locations to choose from. My favorite being the one in old Cloverdale vs. the one on Vaughn Road. |
| | The Roadhouse - This is another chain place but another good one. Again a wide range of food including chicken and, of course, steak. Prices very from 7 - 25$ per plate. Service is usually fast and even when there is a wait the staff keeps things moving quickly. Located on EastChase Parkway near the Target. |
| | Mark Anthony's The Pub - This is another more expensive place. While not my personal favorite, it has been around for many many years and is a local favorite. There is a daily fish special with a fixed menu that includes different steaks and seafood dishes. The average plate cost is around $20 I believe. Located on Chantilly Parkway in East Montgomery. |
