A few tips on how to REALLY watch a movie

It's easy to watch a movie... but not that easy to watch a movie well. Really, really watching a movie makes great movies better, and terrible movies more fun to make fun of!
| | Watch it twice - once all the way through, once while rewinding, pausing, and with the subtitles on to really catch it all |
| | Take a break between the two viewings, give your mind a break and time to process |
| | Read up about the movie before you watch it, so you're not spending the film trying to figure out what you should pay attention to |
| | Watch lots of movies... the more you watch the better you'll be |
| | Watch the nuances of the characters. |
| | Don't do other things while you watch the movie, focus 100% on the screen |
| | Read reviews after you watch the first time, to see if they caught anything you missed |
