This is a small list of things found in my hometown of Belleville, Illinois

	Jimmy Connors-one of the best tennis players to have ever lived
	Jay Haas-one of the best golfers to have ever lived, and I don't even like golf!
	Jeff Tweedy--WILCO member, actually went to grade school with him. He signed my yearbook back then but I got rid of it!! Doh! Hey, how was I supposed to know??
	Buddy Ebsen-cool old dude from Beverly Hillbillies
	White asparagus-yes, it's true. It's pretty yummy also!
	"Bellevegas"-yes, a cross between Belleville and Vegas. Not sure where this term originated but since I love Vegas, I thought it deserved a mention
	And...Runner Up: Scott Air Force Base-okay, technically not in Belleville, but we claim it as our own!
