The year has reached it's mid-way point and as an avid reader, I want to report on the best books I have read so far!
| | The Host - Melanie Stryder - WOW! What a book. A very emotional read that I enjoyed immensely. Didn't think it would be a book I'd enjoy, ended up loving. |
| | Twilight, New Moon - Melanie Stryder - I considered myself a little old for this series, but I wanted to see what the hubub was all about. I liked it a great deal. |
| | Rant - Chuck Palahniuk - Woah, what a ride! (literally, hahah) This book takes the reader on journey that makes them question everything. It's the reason I survived Jury Duty! |
| | The Manny - Holly Peterson - A fun read that makes the reader re-evaluate what they consider important in their lives. |
| | Shoe Addicts Anonymous - Beth Harbison - A silly adventure that is told from many perspectives kept me engaged throughout. |
| | Wicked - Gregory Maguire - After seeing the play, it was quite an experience to read the novel! It was different than the Broadway production, but very interesting none the less. |
