I- 68 located in West Virginia and Maryland is a great east coast drive!

	I drive them often and the mountain views are simply beautiful. In West Virginia you drive through such dense mountains with little evidence of civilization.
	Shortly before 68 turns into 70 you drive "through" a mountain. It is a place where the mountain was cut into, for the interstate, and it shows very well the geologic pattern of the areas mountains.
	It really is something to see for yourself.
	There is also a visitor’s center located on the spot with a 2-story museum that displays how they made the cut into the mountain and about the wildlife in the area.
	As you continue to travel east you connect with Interstate 70 and the land becomes flatter, with rolling hills and lots of farms.
