This is a list of things to do that can assist in lowering the stress levels invovled in dealing with children.
| | Whisper, don't yell. It's quieter and people pay more attention to you when you whisper than they do when you yell. |
| | Give them specific instructions. |
| | Let them know exactly what you expect of them. |
| | Praise them when they do something good. |
| | Remind them how to make good choices when they do something "bad". |
| | Set a good example. |
| | Be silly with them sometimes. |
| | Don't expect perfection, they are still learning. |
| | Treat them with the same respect you liek to be treated with. |
| | Listen when they talk. |
| | Don't interrupt them. |
| | Remind them how much you love them. |
| | don't burden them with your problems. |
