I have 2 children and I was always on the lookout for things that could help me be a more efficient mom. This list is comprised of the top 5 things no mother should be without. Of course there are many other things that are needed, but these 5 items were very helpful to me and I hope will help you as well. Happy Mothering!
| | The books "What To Expect When You're Expecting" & "What To Expect The First Year" - these are the bibles of motherhood. They average about $15 a piece. |
| | Avent Bottles - These were the only bottles my breast fed sons would accept. They are moderately priced at around $10 for two. |
| | Cloth Diapers -not just for putting on baby's butt, cloth diapers can be used for everything such as: wiping noses, a burp cloth, making a compress, the possibilities are endless. To sweeten the deal, a pack of cloth diapers average $15 dollars for a pack. |
| | A Cd of white noise helps soothe a crying/colicky baby. The white noise CD's can be purchased from a variety of retailers, or you can make your own by recording the sound of a hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, or clothes dryer. The price varies based on if you make it yourself or purchase from a store. |
| | A sense of humor because sometimes you have to laugh instead of crying. Free. |
