Top five foods (or beverages) to throw up
AMUSING
Tags: foods, best of, vomit
I can't think of a single person who enjoys heaving his or her guts out in front of the toilet. However, if you have to throw up, these are the top five foods to puke, as they don't hurt coming up, don't burn, and shouldn't cause later aversion to the food! I developed it in my first pregnancy when I had bad morning sickness, and have added to it over the years
| 1. | scrambled eggs. The consistency stays about the same going down and coming up. Over all, not too bad if you have to Ralph. |
| 2. | oatmeal. Again, it is more a consistency issue than a taste issue--it remains the same in and out. |
| 3. | macaroni and cheese. No surprises here. Mac and Cheese is kind of bland all around, so it tastes about the same whether it is going down, or coming back up. |
| 4. | Captain Crunch cereal. This one was a surprise to me. This only holds true if it has been well -chewed prior to the vomiting episode. |
| 5. | Orange juice. This was the biggest surprise of all when it came to heaving something up. I would have thought it would get more bitter when added to the stomach acid. However, it actually has a kind of sweetness when tasting it in reverse. |
