THE Best Restaurants in Costa Rica
DELICIOUS
Tags: cuisine food dining Costa Rica restaurants
Costa Rica has some great places to eat, but theyre hard to find unless you're a local! Try out these tried-and-true restaurants.
| | Taj Mahal (Santa Ana)- Possibly the best Indian food you can get in the country. Amazing curries! |
| | Tin Jo (San Jose)- THE best place for Asian cuisine nation-wide. They have evrything from sushi to Indian to Chinese to Thai. Exotic and delicious! |
| | Chez Christophe (Escazu)- Orgasmic. Best French pastry EVER! And the lunches are AMAZING and yet decently priced. Only downside? They close at 5pm. |
| | La Pecora Nera (Puerto Viejo)- tucked away in the Caribbean coast, this place is a little hard to find. But sooo worth it. You will never try Italian better than this! |
| | La Hoja de Aire (San Pedro)- This hole in the wall cafe has the most delicious fusion I have ever tried. Their "torta de Maracuya" is to DIE for, and everything on the menu is indescribably good. And surprisingly cheap! |
| | The Pub (Escazu)- This warm, cozy little bar has the only REAL fish and chips in the country. They taste just like youd bought them off the London streets, the way they should be. And use vinegar on the chips, not ketchup! |
| | Le Chandelier (Escazu)- Supposedly THE best French cuisine in the country. Never been there though, cause the prices? Are sky-high. |
| | Hotel Grano de Oro (La Sabana)- Overpriced, but delicious. I only complain because the servings are minute! |
| | La Feria del Maiz (Alajuela)- Im not into typical Costa Rican food, but if you want to try the real thing, try this place. Hearty "chorreadas" and "gallos de papa", and dirt cheap! |
