| | Voo Doo Dougnuts- What list about Portland, OR wouldn't be complete without Voo Doo Doughnuts. Here you can get an amazing selection of doughnuts! Everything from one shaped like a voo doo doll to vegan doughnuts to captain crunch flavor and even bacon flavored. Something for everyone |
| | Park Blocks- I like to go here and people watch. They are also a good meetup spot because they aren't hard to run into |
| | Delta Lounge- Cajun food and Pabst in a coffee tin ice bucket? Uh yes! |
| | Yamhill Pub-THE dive bar. Writing and stains on the walls. Seedy people. Everything you need for a bizarre experience |
| | Forest Park-Beautiful and tranquil. It's like magically being in the forest in the middle of the big city. |
| | Laughing Planet- All different types of food. Burritos mostly. They have tons of toy dinosaurs to play with while you're eating. |
| | American Dream Pizza-Great pizza, cool art everywhere and not many people to bother you while eating. |
| | Powells- Again, Portland list is incomplete without mentioning Powells or Voo Doo. The largest independent book store in the world. You can get lost for hours on end. |
| | Panera Bread- Great bakery and coffee. They make some realllyyyy good bread. |
| | McDonalds-Only for the cheap movie red box and to watch CNN on a big screen. |
| | Hollywood Theatre-Independent movie theatre. It's been restored and it's just like the olden days. Lots of interesting movies to be seen here. |
