Top Ten Beer Joints in Butte, MT

Butte, MT is full of tons of places to drink beer. That's all people do here, it seems! But I've compiled a list of some of my personal favorites.
| | The Irish Times is a good bar with an old-timey pub feeling on the outside and pool & darts on the inside. |
| | Pisser's Palace up in Walkerville is a real hole in the wall joint. It's pretty trashy, but the locals love it, and there are some good people to be found in that joint. Plus with a name like Pisser's Palace it has to be good. |
| | Pirate's Treasure Casino isn't anything special, except it's within drunken stumbling distance of my house, so I like to go there. |
| | Metals Sports Bar is in the Metals Bank building on Park street. I like this place because, in addition to having lots of good beer -- including local microbrews -- they have good food and plenty of screens. |
| | The Vu Villa is fun because it's a local hangout for the college crowd, being just down the hill from Tech campus. The youthful atmosphere is nice, except when it's crowded. |
| | Deluxe Sports Bar on Main street is a cool little place. They claim to have world famous sandwiches. They usually have some interesting beers on tap. |
| | The Pair-a-Dice is cool because it's right next a tattoo shop. So get drunk and go get a tattoo! |
| | The Pekin Noodle Parlor isn't famous for it's beers, it's famous for it's Chop Suey (excellent!) but it's the only place in town I know to get Tsing Tao so that makes it interesting anyway. |
| | The M&M is a classic Butte landmark and it has good food during the day. Just don't venture into there after 2 AM or else you'll be run off by 50-year-old bikers wearing cutoff KISS wifebeaters. |
| | Last but not least is Kingpin. Another local hangout for the Tech crowd, you can get free drink coupons by bowling. Get drunk and knock down some pins! |
