The Best Horror Movies You've Never Seen
SCARY
Tags: movies, scary, horror, unseen, best
These are some of the best horror movies you've probably never seen.
| | The Orphanage: Okay, so it''s not an English movie. So what? It's a bit of a thinker and if you're not paying attention, the ending will be ruined for you. But the plot is incredible and intense. When you find out what happens to the kid, it is a very satisfying answer. |
| | The Descent: This movie goes where no horror movie has gone before. There are no men in the film, just six strong women who take a trip together to go cave exploring. This one doesn't go the way you'd expect. It has the added bonus of having a really cool poster. |
| | May: I think Anna Faris did this one before she decided that acting ditzy in movies was a more lucrative career. This movie goes from awkward weirdness to serial-killing crazy town. It teaches the most important lesson of all: don't &^*% with crazy. |
| | Dr. Giggles: The name alone should be enough. It's funny and creepy at the same time. The movie, I mean. Dr. Giggles comes from a broken home y'all! Have some sympathy, he's just trying to help - without the use of anesthetics of course. |
| | Severance: I found this DVD in the cheap section and bought it for the cover. It turned out to be really good. It used a decent combination of humor, intensity and gore. Does a severed head continue to be conscious even after it is removed from the body? The movie answers this important question. The characters are on a company "retreat" and are headed to a "resort" in the ass-crack of Europe. Pretty soon they realize they are in the wrong place and that they aren't welcome. |
| | The Changling: No, not the Angelina/Eastwood picture. This is an oldie, and the end is a bit off, but I applaud the effort made in between. A guy has lost in family in a car accident and he moves to a new house to start his life over. Something's not quite right in the house, though. He attempts to solve the mystery as spirit activity increases. There are two scenes in particular that are very creepy: one in the attic with the wheelchair and the other happens during a seance. |
