The walls are lined with records and the music leans toward the indie-rock flavour. Permanent installments are a few pinball machines and an old-fashioned, four-frame photo booth. | | 2. | The Fox and the Hound at 103rd and Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park, KS sports nearly fifty beers on tap, pool tables galore, and darts as well as in-table checkers. With a massive bar and to-die-for bar-style food as well as Tuesday Pint Night and an extensive cigar menu, the Fox and the Hound is a great spot for anyone 21 and over. | | 3. | The Kona Grill on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, MO, is an absolute blast. The decor is beautiful with a keen eye to textures, raised couches, and sparkling glassware. They sport a very knowledgable bar staff and music ranging from techno and house to disco and R&B. Every night at the Mint Lounge is a night worth remembering. |
