Save money by doing more yourself

Everyone wants to save money now a days..by buckling down and learning a few new skills and doing most things yourself you will be a lot better off and have a few extra pennies in your pocket.
| | 1. If you must have the internet..get dial up..while you are waiting for sites to load..have something available to work on..dishes, ironing, crafts |
| | 2. If you must have cable..get the lowest package..or go back to the tv antenna |
| | 3. Cook from scratch |
| | 4. Shop with a list once a week..or better yet once a month..early in the AM for best buys |
| | 5. Sew your own clothes, or buy on Ebay or thrift shops |
| | 6. Do your hair yourself...cut, color, or barter with someone that knows how |
| | 7. Do your dogs hair yourself...there are books to help |
| | 8. Make your own bag lunches |
| | 9. Walk or bike or public transportation |
| | 10. Do projects around the house yourself..what you are able to do..painting, winterizing, maintainance |
| | 11. Compost your food scraps for a garden or plants |
| | 12. You can save money by using the library for magazines and dvd's |
| | 13. Reduce the amount of gifts you give, or make them yourself |
