New Years Resolutions For The Lazy College Student
TOP #
Tags: New Years, Resolutions, College, Student, List, Top Ten
The top ten NYRs for the typical lazy colelge student (such as myself).
| 1. | Buy a desk and dedicate a specific area of the ktichen (as my room is too small) for my schoolwork where I WILL study. |
| 2. | Carry my backpack, with books included, to school everyday to initiate studying. |
| 3. | Get organized. Buy a binder and hole punch to put papers into as well as syllabus for each class and other information I will need, so I will have no excuse during the year to say 'Oh, I am not organized, therefore I shall pause my studying to go do that...'. |
| 4. | Cut my Starbucks card into peices so I will not be temped. Starbucls = sleepyness instead of energy, which then = no studying. |
| 5. | Fill out my FAFSA early in the year to get that out of the way, as well as register for classes before the late registration date. |
| 6. | Leave my laptop at home, unless needed, so that I will not play games at king.com in class instead of taking notes. |
| 7. | Try and regulate my sleep pattern. No more staying up until three AM in the morning and then sleeping all day. Get a fully functional and very loud alarm for my room so that I will actually go to class. |
| 8. | For online classes, make a calendar with my own deadlines so that I can actually finish my work on time. |
| 9. | Leave my phone in my purse on vibrate and NOT on my desk so that I will not be tempted to text during class, which then will allow me to take more notes, and thus, learn more. |
| 10. | Get an A in Anatomy and Physiology 2 so that I can get into nursing school. |
