Techie New Years resolution list:

As a techie myself, I came up with a list of resolutions that I may actually be able to keep this year.
| | 1. I will not forward graphics of everything funny and entertaining that I find. I will send a link, and thus not clutter up everyone's e-mail in box or fill it to capacity. |
| | 2. I will help at least 3 friends and family get a full virus / malware / spyware scan. It's not just a favor - it's prevention of me getting the stuff. |
| | 3. I will not ever again log into the EVE simulation and make fun of Icelanders that this is their only export except fish. |
| | 4. World of Warcraft is a hobby, not a job. I will spend more time at the activity on the computer that pays me and less on the one that costs me. |
| | 5. For those people with children who send me pictures of them, I will not ever again state that the kids are not as cute, perfect, or adorable as the parents think they are. If truly annoyed by volume of kid pictures, I will instead send a drum set for the next child's birthday as more appropriate vengeance. |
| | 6. For those days I am kept running on caffeine, it will all be DIET soda, instead of regular variety. Thus it will be a slightly healthier dietary move. |
