This is a list of the five reptiles that I like and believe would be easy to keep for someone new to the hobby. All these creatures tolerate or actively enjoy handling, and have modest care requirements.
[Prices are an approximate of what a breeder normally charges, although the prices also depend on the color morph of the animal. Very rare color morphs or a particularly distinguished individual may be priced much higher than what I have listed below.]
