| | Say Cheese! Downtown Overton has a themed photography studio were you can Create A Scene and even use your own camera at Cheesy Photos. There are many choices, be a pirate, cowboy, biker, ganster, mermaid, lady of the evening. The cost is reasonable visit www.cheesyphotos.biz for examples. |
| | Roos-n-More in Moapa is the best petting zoo ever! The have camels, kangaroos, monkeys, zebra, fainting goats. You will be taken on an educational tour and be allowed in interact with the animals. |
| | Lost City Museum head out of Overton towards Lake Mead is a quaint museum that demonstrates the lives of the Indians in this area long ago. |
| | While still headed towards Lake Mead there is the turn off for Valley of Fire. Absolutely beautiful with many hiking and picnic areas. |
| | Back on the ride to the lake you will find natural springs with water coming from the ground, Roger Springs is the best with many fish to watch, shaded picnc area and a arched brigde for watching the water tumble towards to lake or take a great photo on. |
| | Fishing is great at the Lake! Locals and visitors fish the lake year round. |
| | Off Road Adventures bring your own vehicle or rent one from the Polaris Shop on Main Street in Overton. |
| | Eat at Sugars! Good Food at good prices, Across from Cheesy Photos and open every day but Monday. You may have to wait for a seat. |
| | Want Ice Cream we have that too at the Inside Scoop, also serving sandwiches, salads and soups. |
| | Adult time? There are two bars in Overton, the Sportsman and the Rooser (seen recently in a car commercial) |
