The best restaurants in Worcester, MA which offer delicious options for those who follow a gluten-free diet!
| | Wild Willy's (317 West Boylston Street, Worcester, MA)--EVERYTHING on the menu is gluten free!!! Amazing burgers, onion rings, fries, chicken tenders, fish and chips. Wonderful root beer! Everything is amazing! | | | Bean Counter Bakery and Coffee Bar (113 Highland St, Worcester, MA) - The Bean Counter is incredible, and I visit there very often. They have a great selection of coffees and teas and pastries, and they've recently begun to offer gluten free treats too. They usually have gf cookies or biscotti, and sometimes even treats like gluten free cheesecake. They also offer a large selection of made-to-order cakes, which I haven't tried yet, but hope to soon!! | | | Sole Proprietor (118 Highland St, Worcester, MA) - This restaurant can be a bit on the pricey side, but it's absolutely worth it if you love seafood. They have a very high-quality selection of seafood, most of which can be ordered as broiled or without sauce. Sushi options as well!! Just make sure that they don't add soy sauce to the glaze. Their sides and salads are delicious too, and there's gluten-free flan for desert!! | | | EVO Restaurant (232 Chandler St, Worcester, MA) - lots of gluten-free options! Gluten free buns and wraps for sandwiches, gf pizza (!) and amazing salads as well!! EVO has many different organic and vegan options, and uses very high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable. My boyfriend and I split a gluten-free pizza for $10, and it is more than enough. | | | Ciao Bella (402 Grove St, Worcester, MA) - This local Italian-favorite doesn't seem like an obvious place to eat gluten-free, but it's wonderful. I usually get the Chicken Carciofi, which is made without any flour. Instead of pasta, I ask for the chicken and sauce to be placed over steamed vegetables. They don't charge anything extra to make the substitution of steamed veggies as opposed to pasta, which really opens up the menu options. The food is absolutely delicious and at an incredible bargain. | | | Boynton Restaurant (117 Highland St, Worcester, MA) - The Boynton offers the best gluten-free pizza in the area, hands-down. The crust is similar to New York-style pizza, crispy and cooks evenly and perfectly. You can even buy the pizza crust for home-use. They have lots of delicious toppings, and will definitely satisfy that pizza craving. | | | Uno Chicago Grill (25 Major Taylor Blvd, Worcester, MA) - I love that major chains are now making the effort to provide Gluten-Free options. The UNO's website and the computer kiosk at the front of the restaurant gives you all the info that you need for the gluten-free options. Any of their grilled chicken selections are great as well. | | | Nancy Chang Restaurant (372 Chandler St, Worcester, MA) - delicious and healthy Asian-inspired cuisine. This restaurant goes the extra mile to ensure that their menu offerings are gluten-free, and they do their best to make many items gluten free. Their spicy chicken is incredible - you can't tell that the crunchy breading is gluten free at all! They also have gluten-free soy sauce, which greatly increases the selection of what you can have. |
