With winter coming here are a few ways to save on fuel costs
| 1. | 1. Turn the thermostat down this winter. You will have a lower energy bill when you burn less gas or oil. |
| 2. | 2. Wear a sweater in your home. In this way you can set the thermostat lower. |
| 3. | 3. Lock yourself in if possible to a lower cost in fuel oil, if you see the price starting to rise sharply. |
| 4. | 4. Insulate your home by putting in better windows and doors that do not let the heat out. |
| 5. | 5. Use a wood burning stove in lieu of other sources in one or two rooms and spend a lot of time in those rooms on cold days and evenings. |
| 6. | 6. If you have a window or wall air-conditioner, seal it where the hot air might leak out during winter months. |
