Top Ten Simpsons Guest Stars

There have been amazing guest stars on The Simpsons, either starring as themselves or portraying a character on the show. It's hard to limit it to just the top ten, when the list could easily be the top fifty. Here is my take on it, how does yours compare?
| 1. | Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob - He has been in numerous episodes and does a great job each time, so he gets the top honor. |
| 2. | Buzz Aldrin as himself - There is actually a copy of this episode available at the International Space Station for astronauts to watch! |
| 3. | Michael Jackson as Leon Kompowsky - He actually initiated this as he was a huge fan. He had a list of demands, which included not being credited. |
| 4. | Elizabeth Taylor as Maggie Simpson - She says Maggie's first word ever, which was "daddy". |
| 5. | Tony Blair as himself - He wanted to promote tourism in England so he agreed to do a spot. It took eight months to make it a reality, and only ten minutes for the actual work. |
| 6. | Johnny Carson as himself - This is one of the few roles he took after retiring from the Tonight Show. He was originally supposed to be a house guest of the Simpson's and mooch off them, but he refused to do that. They went in the other direction and made him versatile and talented, and the role was back on. |
| 7. | David Duchovny as Fox Mulder - X-files in Springfield! His badge has him wearing just a Speedo, just as he did in a scene on the real X-Files. |
| 8. | Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully - X-files in Springfield! She was ranked one of the best guest stars by critics! |
| 9. | Patrick Stewart as Number One - The former Star Trek captain listed this as one of his two most distinguished works in the USA. Promoting the letter B on Sesame Street was the other! |
| 10. | Bob Hope as himself - The recording was done at his house since he was 89 years old, and the animated version was portrayed as being much younger! |
