How to Wash Your Net Curtains the Right Way

Net curtains are not only serves as window coverings, but they also allow the right amount of light into a home. Dirt, dust and debris inhabit on the net with time and make the curtains look grimy, dirty and smell bad. That’s why cleaning net curtains properly helps these home essential looking nice and clean.
| 1. | Remove the curtain rod from the wall and slip the net curtains off one side of the rod. |
| 2. | Pre-treat all stains with a stain remover like a roll-on, a spray, or the recommended type that comes in your net’s cleaning instruction. Let it soak in the stain remover for about 5 to 10 min. before washing. |
| 3. | Let the water to fill up your washing machine, add the laundry detergent, and set the machine to gentle cycle before you put your curtains in. For dark colored curtains, you may also add 1/2 to 1 cup of vinegar to the water in order to prevent them from fading as you wash. On the other hand, you may use ½ to 1 cup of bleach for white curtains. |
| 4. | During the rinse cycle, you may add your desired fabric softener to the load. |
| 5. | Hang your net curtains and allow them to drip and dry. Keep in mind not to tumble dry your net curtains as this will cause them to shrink. |
