Only 3 Bodies in Our Solar System that Rotate Clockwise
IDKT
Tags: solar system, planets, moons, Jupiter, idkt, trivia, orbits, rotation, clockwise, counter, Venus, Uranus
There are only 3 bodies in our solar system that rotate clockwise... everything else (planets, moons, etc) rotate counter-clockwise:
| | Venus - spins super slow, but clockwise (still orbits the sun counter-clockwise however) |
| | A Moon form Jupiter - joined Jupiter after all it's other moons formed and as it passed by Jupiter got sucked in to Jupiter's gravitational pull |
| | Uranus - it's tilt is 98 degrees (Earth is 24 degrees) which puts it upside down which makes it "appear" to spin clockwise |

98 degrees puts Uranus on it's side from the perspective of the orbital plane, not upside down. Comment by: MrBuckin
