Best Comedies of 2010
FUNNY
Tags: comedy, movie, funny, top 10, best, funniest, LOL, 2010
What were the funniest movies of the year?
| 1. | Get Him to the Greek - Jonah Hill and Russell Brand (both from Forgetting Sarah Marshall) hysterically re-unite in this Judd Apatow film about a record company intern with two days to drag an uncooperative rock legend to Hollywood for a comeback concert. |
| 2. | She's Out of My League - Dorky guys gets perfect-10 girl - sound like something you've seen 100 times before? - surprisingly, it's not! She's Out of My League is surprisingly the second best romantic comedy of the year. |
| 3. | Hot Tub Time Machine - Though not quite on the level of The Hangover, HTTM is a creative new comedy about a silly premise of going back in time to 1986 where Walkman's were today's iPod and a magic, puke-covered squirrel helps the Cleveland Browns actually make it to the 1987 Super Bowl! |
| 4. | Death at a Funeral - Truly a look at the lighter side of the death of a loved one. |
| 5. | The Other Guys - Hilarious at times, but altogether lacking from the usually super-funny duo of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay (Step Brothers, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy). |
| 6. | Dinner for Schmucks - Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and Zach Galifianakis are three of the funniest people alive right now, but even this hysterical trio can't save this film from being a bland appetizer that never reaches the fulfilling meal that was promised. |
| 7. | Despicable Me - The previews really don't give you any idea what this animated film is about, and though it is NOT a Pixar film, it's got that feel, with a creative story (a man with a secret hideout in a normal suburban neighborhood plans to steal the moon) and well voiced characters by a list of big-name stars (Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Kristen Wiig, and Julie Andrews). |

Dinner for Schmucks? Really? Whoever made this list probably didn't even watch the movie.
Despite it's amazing cast, the film is as boring as they can be.
And where is Easy A? Hilarious comedy with the amazing upcoming actress Emma Stone. Comment by: greyluke
