There is a lot of contradictory information on weight loss on the internet; some of it is true while others may be untrue. Instead of getting solutions about the weight gain problem you are searching for, you may end up becoming more confused, because what is discouraged by one author may be encouraged by another. The reason for this is that any person can write and post articles on any issue online without the requirement or need to verify the truth of the content of such articles. This does not mean that the online content is not reliable. Most of it is indeed true, especially when authored by a person who is an expert in that area, and in such cases, you should look for those articles authored by weight loss plan experts. All the authors of weight loss plans prescribe and proscribe those foods commonly consumed in their local area. Some of them may be referred to by a different name, or may not even be consumed in your local area. You should then consult a local weight loss doctor for advice on whether any foods locally available in your local area are fit for consumption. Generally all foods recommended for persons who want to lose weight should contain small amounts or no fats at all, and those which have the effect of increasing the metabolism and burning of excess fats in the body. You will not at any time find an exhaustive list of all the recommended weight loss foods in your local area, or anywhere else, but you can sort them depending on their effects in the body. If in doubt, do not hesitate to consult your doctor. The following 10 foods are generally recommended in almost all weight loss plans because they increase the fats metabolism and contain the required mounts of fats. Others do not contain fats at all.

1. BEANS: contain no fats, but required amounts of proteins and starch which provide the body with energy. They also improve the functioning of body organs and this increases the metabolism of fats.
2. NUTS: contain fats which are readily metabolized to useful body products and are recommended in all weight loss plans. Only fats which are not easily metabolized are not recommended.
3. GREEN TEA: is used in almost all the weight loss plans across the world because it rehydrates the body while burning the excess fats.
4. ALMONDS: have shown positive weight loss results in most people and will definitely work well for you.
5. LENTILS: contain the required protein and fiber amounts which increase the fats metabolism.
6. BANANAS: are a source of energy, carbohydrates and vitamins.
7. GREEN VEGETABLES: contain fiber and other nutrients which are good for persons who are overweight.
8. APPLES: boost the body immunity to ensure that the weight loss does not make your body prone to attack by diseases.
9. RED MEAT: is a good source of proteins, but ensure that it has no fat.
10. GARLIC: good for boosting the body's immunity.
