Retired Names of Atlantic Hurricanes--You're Never Going See Another Katrina

Most of us have to work until we're 65 (or 70 or later) until we can retire. Not so for a hurricane. Once a hurricane makes a name for itself--usually through notorious destruction--the nation most affected by the storm can lobby World Meteorological Organization to have the name permanently retired.
