Help your plants to grow with the best, cheapest, most ecological fertilizer available

  •
  • The best fruit grows from the best soilTill the garden spot with mechanical tiller or by hand shovel ( much work involved with shovel but good exercise). Add about 25 lbs of rabbit pellets (rabbit food, not rabbit droppings)for an area of about 1,000 sq. ft. Much better than commercial fertilizer, no chemicals.
  •
  • If you burn wood for heat during the winter put the ashes in the garden area also for the potash and potassium contained in the ashes. Spread over garden area after they are cool and not on a windy day.
  •
  • Coffee grounds--Sprinkle used grounds around plants before rain or watering, for a slow-release nitrogen.
