A rooftop garden is the ideal alternative way to enjoy all the virtues of gardening, when there is no land in the house.

1.	Select that area of the roof which gets maximum sunlight from dawn till noon and earmark it for the purpose.
2.	Collect pots of 8", 10" and 12" sizes.
3.	Prepare the soil according to the need of the plants you wish to grow.
4.	Arrange for watering needs.
5.	A rooftop room can serve as the store and shade.
6.	Select plants carefully.
7.	Water everyday.
8.	Use manure and medicines in a regular fashion.
