If you have been trying to faux finish one of your bathroom, or any room of your house, you might be interested in the following tips.

1. Remove wallpaper.
2. Apply primer on walls.
3. Use a mixture called Behr Premium Plus Interior Texture Paint (from Lowe's), which is basically "goop" that you slather on your walls with whatever object and in any direction that you want. It's great stuff!
4. Apply Sherwin Williams Chivalry Copper with a brush. I painted over the texture very thinly, letting white show through here and there.
5. To lighten the color a little, find a glaze to paint over the entire wall.
