How to Change a Lock

"Shoulda changed that stupid lock"? It is not as hard as you might think, here is how:

1.	Check to determine which brand of lock you have.
2.	Check the BACKSET of your doorknob and/or deadbolt.
3.	Remove your old doorknob or deadbolt by backing out the screws that secure it to the other half.
4.	Remove the latch (doorknob) or throw bolt (deadbolt).
5.	Installation is the reverse of removal.
