How to Make A Cheap, But Effective Whole House Fan

On those hot summer nights nothing feels better than the cool breeze emited from your fan. Don't have one? Well here is how to build a cheap whole house fan:
| 1. | Cut a hole big enough in the ceiling to hold in a 20" box fan. |
| 2. | Put 4 pieces of crown moulding around the hole. |
| 3. | Cut a circle hole in a sheet of underlayment. |
| 4. | Put the box fan above the sheet of underlayment. |
| 5. | Plug your whole-house fan in, turn it on, and test it out. Your home should be even cooler than before! |
