How to Paint With Granite Paint
HOW TO
Tags: Granite Paint, Painting, Redecorating
Redecorating your home can be fun and challenging. Here is how you can paint with granite paint.
| 1. | Prepare the walls for a standard paint job. |
| 2. | Tape off all trim and ceilings to prevent you from painting where you do not want paint. This is VERY important because once granite paint dries, it is EXTREMELY difficult to remove. |
| 3. | Cut the room in with a high-quality paint brush. |
| 4. | Roll the rest of the walls with a 1 1/4 inch roller. A smaller roller will fill up too fast and the paint will not apply properly. |
| 5. | Once the first layer has dried, apply a second layer with a paintbrush using "X" strokes. This creates the faux effect. |
