Going to the Vet can be a traumatic experience for puppies, and no one wants to deal with a pet who is chronically afraid of going to the vet. Here are some ways to make sure that your puppy does not get freaked out on his first vet visit.

	Walk your dog before you go to the vet
	If your dog is used to being in crates, keep him in the crate for both the ride to the vets and going into the office
	Have them on a leash so that they don't run if they get scared
	If your dog is aggressive with other dogs, notify the staff before you enter the office
	Stay with your dog in the examination room and talk to them in soothing tones
	Bring treats and let the vet give them to your puppy
