How to Clean out Your Closet

If it takes you forever to pick out an outfit in the morning maybe organizing your clothes would make things easier. Here is a great list on how to clean your closet.
| 1. | Be sure your room is clean before you do anything. If it's messy then it's harder to clean, and you may get stressed and tired from merely looking at the mess. |
| 2. | Take out all of your clothes out of your closet and categorize them in clothes that you can't fit, or don't like. Then wash all of them. Wash the rest of the clothes you want. They will sure to smell mildew after sitting in the closet all those days. It will be sure to stink up your room. After all those clothes are washed, in your closet your room would smell better than before. |
| 3. | Sell the clothes you don't want on eBay. Even better, give your clothes to a charity, or sell them off to Plato's Closet, or Goodwill. Knowing you did something good for someone less fortunate would make you feel really good. You could even just give your clothes to a sibling, or cousin. This lightens up your load. |
| 4. | There will be more stuff in your closet other than clothes. You may even have a banana peel in there from months, your favorite toy you've been looking for. Just empty everything completely. |
| 5. | Once your closet is empty, scrub it down. You can search other recipes to clean your closet, but soap and water would do fine as anything else. |
| 6. | Install some book shelves into your closet to put all of your needed things (that may not be clothes) in, some hangers to put your purses etc, and some shoe racks. Also install a hamper to put your dirty clothes in but be sure to clean the clothes often so it won't overload, and your closet is a sudden mess. Check external links. |
| 7. | Now organize your clothes by color. It's easier than JUST organizing it by jeans, tops etc. If you organize by color it's easier to pick out a coordinate outfit. |
| 8. | Do not add any un-needed items in your closet like posters. It only hogs up space which makes your closet seem stuffy. |
| 9. | Finally once your closet is cleaned out spray down with some Febreeze, or Oust. It's a nice feeling. |
