Boxers are a German breed descending from Mastiffs, and are very friendly but also very strong. Here are some more facts about boxers. What do you know?
| | Males are between 22-24 in. and 60-70 ibs |
| | Females are between 21-24 in. and 53-65 ibs. |
| | Average lifespan of 11-14 years |
| | Smooth and clean coats, they tend to clean themselves frequently |
| | Coats come in two colors: brindle and fawn |
| | Some have white markers, called flash, on them |
| | Have short muzzles and lower jaw extends past upper jaw |
| | Very intelligent and easy to train |
| | Energetic, but they are good with children and other animals if properly trained |
| | Protects family from strangers, but if introduced to a stranger, will be very friendly |
| | Need at least once daily exercise |
| | Medical problems include drooling because of their short snout, allergies, difficulty adjusting to temperatures, and can develop cardiomyopathy, sub-aortic stenosis, and hip dysplasia |
| | Prone to tumors at an older age and epilepsy |
| | Can also develop corneal dystrophy or Demodectic mange |
