	Bernese Mountain Dogs crave interaction with family members
	Once they adjust to a family, they have a hard time readjusting to a new family
	Weigh between 80-105 ibs. and measure between 23-28 in.
	They need lots of exercise when they are young and do not do well in apartments
	Their colors are black, rust and white
	They need brushing during their seasonal, heavy shedding period
	They are not meant for extremely hot climates
	Great with children and other pets
	Social dogs and do not like being left alone for very long
	Believed to have originated in the Swiss Mountains
	Working dogs, but they prefer to be in a home with a family than independent
