If your dream is to lead the band in that 4th of July parade maybe you should check out these tips on baton twirling.
| 1. | Always attend practices and lessons. Every practice counts and helps you excel. If you find yourself dreading your lessons, rethink twirling. |
| 2. | Be prepared. Come in your twirling clothes with your baton, shoes, and the like. Practices can be easier if you're prepared. |
| 3. | Practice at home, too. If you have bad pavement to practice on, go to your studio or your local gym. Practice makes perfect! |
| 4. | Have fun. If you enjoy yourself and are doing your best and practicing, you will have fun and do great. |
| 5. | Before the competition starts, try to get on the floors to practice. |
| 6. | Love what you are doing! |
