How to Stay a Virgin

Deciding to have sex is a very serious decision that is difficult to go back on. Staying a virgin is not always easy but can assure you that when you do make the decision to have sex that it is the right time for you.
| 1. | Learn to respect yourself, and your body. Just as you would not want to share your car with everyone, the same applies to your body. |
| 2. | Attend parties and functions. Interact with all sexes, but if you see that couples are pairing off and heading into bedrooms, it is time for you head for home. If you have gone there with someone, or met someone while there, explain to them that you have chosen to save yourself for marriage. No further explanation is necessary. |
| 3. | Respect yourself, and others will respect you. If someone laughs or makes fun of you, just turn your back and ignore it. |
| 4. | Never attempt to convince another to stay a virgin because of your decision. What is good for you might not please another. |
| 5. | Keep meeting and dating. Do not be desperate, but don't feel you need to remain alone. A good night kiss, a hug, or holding hands with a person you enjoyed being with is quite appropriate. |
| 6. | Recognize that many people brag about how many sexual relations they have had, but realize that not all 'brags' are truthful. |
| 7. | Remember, just as you have decided on virginity until marriage, there is also someone else out there of the opposite sex that has made the same decision. |
| 8. | Remain steadfast and never waver. Allow your wedding night to be an experience like no other. Give yourselves to each other, and know that you have made the correct decision. |
