How to Tell Your Boyfriend You Want to Have Sex

So, you have decided that it is the right time to have sex. Now you just have to talk to your partner about it. Here is how to tell your boyfriend that you want to have sex.
| 1. | Consider whether you have been together long enough to be comfortable with one another and be familiar with one another's feelings about sex and relationships. |
| 2. | Seriously consider whether or not you will later regret having sex. For some people, the act creates a strong emotional bond which is hard to let go of. If that describes you, consider whether this person will respect that. For other people, sex is just a fun thing to do, and that's fine. |
| 3. | Make sure you both are open and honest with each other and have been intimate before (kissing, making-out, hugging, etc) so he won't be suddenly caught off-guard. |
| 4. | Talk about sex in general - celebrities having sex, friends that you wonder whether or not they have done it, various things you have heard about how to do it, silly things that have happened to people while they were having sex, and so on. You could also ask him a question about it. These general conversations will make the question seem less like it comes out of the blue, and make actually create a specific opportunity for you to ask in a non-awkward way. |
| 5. | If all else fails just tell them that you want to have sex, that's the easier way, no use beating around the bush. |
